Hazelbrook Gardens

Hazelbrook garden is a 2 acre garden of wonder and intrigue with its many rescue animals. The garden started in 2010 as a field with lots of boulders and sand. It appeals to the DIY ‘do it yourself’ gardener.

It’s focus is sustainability of unused items upcycled & repurposed for pleasure & beauty. If you visit you will have a couple of ideas to take away with you. There are upcycled trampolines that prompt a second look. The garden has a mix of shrubs and perennials and plenty of cut flowers for drying. The owners have a keen interest in floristry & creating bespoke floral masterpieces many of which can be seen throughout our home. The garden out to the front has a wild meadow with raised canopy allowing for a beautiful view into the woodland demesne & beyond. This then leads down into a long sweeping bank of shrubs & perennials with plenty of trees.

The back garden is the product of 24 months of work with informal planting predominantly grown from seed, divided plants or plant swaps. The most recent addition is a pond which invites an abundant array of flora & fauna which are all welcomed visitors to our garden.

Our garden will appeal to people who don’t know where to start & we are only too happy to share our pocket friendly & sustainable ideas.
